How much did they end up lifting your jeep?

I used the highest setting and got 2" out of them.

I installed the shackles today. O man, they really lifted the back end up quite a bit. Before the back was about 1" lower then the front, but now the back is about 1" higher then the front. I'm going to be putting in another 1" spacer to level it out, so total I will be running 5.5" lift

This should be a law. Jeep Members are not permitted to brag about installing a lift or performing modifications unless appropriate pictures were shown of member's work/rig.

I just read this post, and I called Summitracing, and the shakles from a chevy truck as long as it's 2.5" at the leaf should fit... and I found some for a 2" drop on a 1/2 ton for $40, which beats pulling a not as good part from the jk.

Here you go

Right now the front sits at about 4.5" of lift, and the back is at about 5.5" of lift.

mj shackles gave me an inch heres a comparison they are atleast a inch or longer than the xj ones

thanks... i figured there was alot of differances of opinions on how much lift they give so i figured to post this for people to draw their own conclusion.
i hear there some sort ot gm truck stuff that gives 2" of lift .
im a diehard junkyard dog. and its kinda green if you think about it. im contributing to recycling and re using instead of consumerism of new stuff,lol.

I read that old dodge van main leaves fit the xj so wouldn't the shackles fit too? I don't know if they would provide lift, but it might be worth looking into.

Interesting, do you know what years?what kinda vans? Fullsize?
