I purchased a set of HID lights for my 99' Cherokee and the headlights that it came with suck. I am looking for headlights that actually have the enclosed space for the HID bulb to be inserted into. Not just the piece of glass to focus it and the 2 metal pieces holding it up. Anybody know where I can find a pair?
I've seen this done before, however, the most common route is to go with the H4 Housings, and associated bulbs. I know some people use the IPF Fat Boys with great success, along with a wiring harness upgrade.
I used the Hella conversion lights with the Piaa extreme white bulb. They're not hid, but are much much better than the factory, plus they come with bulbs so they will swap right out. I went with piaa bulbs to match the rest of my lights.
here is my jeep with a set of H4 conversion head lights and 4300k HID bulbs. the housing are kioto and the bulbs were one off custom stock lights made to fit and came with a home made reflector.
