Default 02 Grand Cherokee Starter

Hello all, I am about to perform the first surgery on my 02 Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited. My starter seems to have decided to call it quits. I got under and checked it out. Looks like I am going to have some trouble getting out the small space available. Are there any how to guides to show me the steps to do this properly? I see a bar that I might be able to remove, is that wise? If I jack it up will that make is easier to get it out? Thanks Brian

found this on the net maby it will help

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the lower (forward facing) mounting screw securing the starter motor to the automatic transmission torque converter housing (Starter Motor Remove/Install - 4.0L Engine) or (Starter Motor Remove/Install - 4.7L Engine).
While supporting the starter motor with one hand, use the other hand to remove the upper (rear facing) mounting screw securing the starter motor to the automatic transmission torque converter housing.
Lower the starter motor from the front of the automatic transmission torque converter housing far enough to access and remove the nut that secures the battery cable eyelet to the solenoid battery terminal (Starter Wire Harness Remove/Install - 4.0L Engine) or (Starter Wire Harness Remove/Install - 4.7L Engine). Always support the starter motor during this process, do not let the starter motor hang from the wire harness.
Remove the battery cable eyelet from the solenoid battery terminal. Always support the starter motor during this process, do not let the starter motor hang from the wire harness.
Disconnect the solenoid terminal wire harness connector from the connector receptacle on the starter solenoid. Always support the starter motor during this process, do not let the starter motor hang from the wire harness.
Remove the starter motor from the engine compartment.

Thanks a million BACKWOOD.-- So by raising the front end it will allow enough room to pull the starter out? It did not look like there was going to be enough space to pull it through.
