I'm thinking of getting a lift. I'm looking at the rough country 1.5 lift or the 3.5 lift.
I just got new tires though at 245/75/15 so I can't upgrade to anything big. But too big of a lift might look kinda hokey with the tires.
Jeep ZJ Grand Cherokee Suspension Lift Kits
I am definitely going suspension lift though.
Thoughts?

Give'r!
I wouldn't worry about your tires looking small with a 3.5" lift...

Where did you get those bars that go along the bottom of the doors? I need me a set to cover some damage from a previos owner :-(

Here is my 5.9 with 33"s.
I have had such bad luck with my Rough Country lift all the way around. At this point the Rear Adjustable control arms have stripped out so I had to weld them and put a bolt through them. the front came with only the lower CA's, and it turns out when I purchased my kit 2 years ago they sent the wrong length ones. At this point , Up front I now have 4 skyjacker Heavy duty ADJ control arms that were for an XJ, they have heme joints and are all beef(not in pic). the new ones make the RC control arms look like Popsicle sticks. Not to mention my pinion angel can now be achieved.
My nightmare with RC runs much deeper then that though, bUT I will stop the rant now.
Aside from the 5.5 lift , my 5.9 has a 242 transfercase and Aussie Lockers front and rear and the 33.s X terrain's are pushed by Yukon 4.56 gears

Make: Daystar Polueurethane "Pucks"
Height: 2 1/2"
Tires: 275/55 r15(before) BFG TAKO 31"(with cutting / after)
Just an FYI to everyone who doesn't have a bunch of money for a lift right away.. I'm still saving... They costed me about 100$ for the pucks and bump stops. The first pick is with the stock rims and some firestone t/a's, and the after is the newest setup with the 31"s. I had to cut the fenders and bumper to fit up front, and I think that you wont need to cut in the rear with this setup. After the cutting though, I could've went with 32"s and maybe some 33"s if I had done more cutting(33's not reccomended though)
