Jeep ZJ- Problem with Driver Door

A few nights ago the lights in my 1998 Jeep GC started going crazy and flickering as I was driving. The locks also started going crazy and the theft alarm was going off on its own when I lock the Jeep. So I checked the wire harness inside the door and it is secure. I know it is the driver door because when I pull on the driver door the lights react and they shut off for a second. Could it simply be my master window/lock switch? Anyone have any suggestions?

Well, that year model of GC had a lot of problems with the BCM (body control module) those are located under the dash ont he driver's side by the door and are a black plastic box that is about 2 inches thin or so and about 6 inches long by about 5 inches tall. I have had a few of those fail and it will make stuff go crazy like that. They are about $400-$500 new and about $40-$60 at a J/Y. If you end up replacing this from a junk yard just remember that whatever mileage was on the J/Y vehicle will be transferred to yours when installing the BCM ok.
