I was kinda joking about the sawzall. But if you're planning on doing much in the way of trail runs, be warned the ZJ's with the 4.0L are very prone to overheating. Not anything that isn't unmanageable, just something to be aware of. I know you said you've got a line on some good deals, but what are V8 Grands selling for where you live? I know around me, a lot of people are trying to sell and downsize to more efficient vehicles, so selling their V8 SUV's is kind of tough at the moment. In any case, you've got to decide what works best for you, but I'd be most concerned about what the cost would be after everything is said and done. One other thing is that if you have a Jeep that runs good now, you risk trading it for one that has some problems that may not be evident at first.
Whichever way you go, good luck, and I hope it works out well for you!
Later.
