Can anyone chime in and let me know?? I would like the best wheelin and reg driver I can get. nothing extreme but fun to play with. Oh and I know the power difference. I can tell you who is pushin a V8 or who is not. But im not into going fast in the jeep. just want to go anywhere. Going fast is for the sports car.

If you want to lighten it up, break out the sawzall and start slicing the fatty parts off!

But that's just my opinion...
Me with a sawzall is not good. I will take everything!!!! ME and my dad love cutting stuff up. But I want to keep a pretty nice ride as well. I have been finding some good deals on 4.0 Zj's ALOT better than what I paid for my ZJ. As I do the figuring I should come out better in the end. But I wanted some more opinions. MY main problem is I used to have a MX-3 and that car was amazing. I have came up on a dang good deal on one. And I should be coming up on a good deal on a 4.0 ZJ later on. I think everything will play ok. Just need some other opinions.

Thanks

I was kinda joking about the sawzall. But if you're planning on doing much in the way of trail runs, be warned the ZJ's with the 4.0L are very prone to overheating. Not anything that isn't unmanageable, just something to be aware of. I know you said you've got a line on some good deals, but what are V8 Grands selling for where you live? I know around me, a lot of people are trying to sell and downsize to more efficient vehicles, so selling their V8 SUV's is kind of tough at the moment. In any case, you've got to decide what works best for you, but I'd be most concerned about what the cost would be after everything is said and done. One other thing is that if you have a Jeep that runs good now, you risk trading it for one that has some problems that may not be evident at first.

Whichever way you go, good luck, and I hope it works out well for you!

Later.

Just buy a TCase from the JY, you can find them in XJ's.

Yes, and I would put the SYE in before you put the tcase into the vehicle as it will be much easier to change out.
