so i bought this zj for $540 on august 23, 2009 a few days after my 33rd birthday. good late present,lol. heres how i got it:










it had a bent passengerside lca bracket:









my friend tracy welded it for me for free thanks man!! hes a better welder than me, i hate overhead stuff.

next i whent for a small lift , front coils in the rear, extra stock spacers in the front for about a 3" lift:















then i decided a little bumper trim and front tow hooks were in order:

today i decided to switch to mustang 19# fuel injectors on the advice of 4.3l xj and heres those pics from today. it runs smoother:

so now my jeep runs a bit better as my stock injectors were filthy even after numerous bottles of various kinda of injector cleaner. i still have more things to fix on this jeep and im not sure what my plans are. its a 93 with i think a aw4 tranny and it has the np242j and i love it. i want to get some leather limited heated seats and a working overhead consel next

I have never seen shock extenders. can you buy them at different extension lengths?
I just lifted another 1.5 inches. so I could put m 33 s on. I wonder if I should bother with them at 1.5"

I've only seen these ones but I'm sure they would be plenty for you anyways

so how did you bend yours just like mine? mine came to me like that. i have no idea what happen to it i have a weird bunch of dents. both fenders up front, the hood in front and that fender on the pasenger side looks like it was hit good along with the wheel, hence the xj rims and tires on my zj
thanks i like the look too, need some more lift though. 6" would look sweet

I slid sideways into a curb. lol. I was on a through street and a guy ran a stop sign on an intersecting street and so i had to swerve to miss him, went into a slide right off the side of the road and into a post.

wow, yeah it doesnt take much. ive seen alot of jeeps that have bent like this
you would think jeep would make em stronger. i think mine still has something to do with getting dw/ vibrations over 40mph even with all new front stuff.

Did you ever check your castor angle?

yeah i had negative castor so i set it positive in a spot that made for a decent pinion angle so the cam bolt points at about the 2 o' clock position so it point backwards. but im confuse because if you read it from the other side it would read 10 o'clock from out side the jeep not the center.
