Default Quick clutch bleeding question

95 xj ax-15 external slave. I don't have a standard bleeder valve on the slave. Has a hex screw and which serves as the bleeder and a tiny pin hole that shoots the dot 3 all over since you can't put a hose over it. I pulled the slave to bleed it at first. compressed the piston and and went over standard bleeding procedure. soft pedal still. so I reattached the slave to the bell housing and bled it again. still a little soft but better. I started to do this because because the clutch pedal felt a little sticky on release.
