Wow this is ****ing crazy. Earlier today there were 0 replies now 3 pages of conversation haha. No biggy, I just got off work so this is a nice surprise.
The idea of redoing the headliner intruiges me, I don't know how well I'd fare at putting it on but I'll give it the ole college try.
I might make a trip to the junkyard tomorrow, otherwise I'm going to see how I can rip out my console and repaint it or recolour in some way.
I will post pics when I commence all this, it'll happen over a period of time.
Cheers!

Any good auto parts store should carry a good line of adhesives and paint for the interior, just have to browse and choose your color.

Is it just any ole rubber you used or did you use some sort of strong rubber I am not aware of? What did you use to keep it down?

IMO- Driving technique and common sense is much more important than the hardware that you have on the trail. Most here would agree that a 3' lift and 31's is a good set-up for a mostly "stock" daily driver.
I personally like my rubber "bedmat" in my cargo area, it's just enough to keep things from rolling around. I have a Tule rack and ratcheting straps, as well as a small trailer for larger loads.
With that, i can't add much more to Nichole's post...
