Looks like an expensive grocery getter/ soccer mom car. Although very luxurious looking I think I will stick with my XJ.
Would have been nice to see it on something other than a 1 rated trail.

looks like it like's Utah.
this guy on one of my local sites. said that he was in Utah when they made this and they were on some trails that they should not be on just beating on the new jeeps. but of course they do not show you that part.

Nice ride! Hate the rear end, but the rest still looks Jeepish! AS for the interior, its as posh and set up as I prefer. I mean, why rough it when not on the trail? My 99 WJ is fully loaded and we hit the trails, more challenging than those in the video. In a few years, I might upgrade to that, especially if they offer Rubicon upgrades and list it as "trail rated".

They should call that the "grand cherokee" without the "jeep" in it cuz it's not a jeep anymore.
My gf's car can wheel better than that. Flat rocks and 1" travel......
Jeep has been infected. Someone's gotta do something to heal them and get em back to thinking "SOLID AXLES, FLEX, OFF ROAD" or someday companies like Subaru will be the leading off road vehicle maker and that's SAD.

Man! Is it any wonder it takes them so long to come out with new product? You guys are stuck in some other world and think that any new Jeep isn't worthy. Get with it! I went and looked at the Rubicon photos and I think they are very good bases on which one can build a trail rated ride that still has all the creature comforts. Gimme a break!

Well when it only has a 4" lift you would want a little help. They did beat the hell out of it.

I applaud the jeep's ability to get through the rubicon, but seriously, no one's gonnna wheel the $$ IFS luxury suv over the rubicon in the real world, unless this person is made of money. If you take this rig through the rubicon, you will suffer lots of body damage. Your rockers will be pushed up and damaged beyond repair. Your front bumper will be scraped and damaged from running little baby tires and having no approach angle. Plus the rubicon is made of gnarly obstacles that could tip the vehicle and this grand has no roll-protection.
If you want a jeep that wheels (that can get through the rubicon without stacking rocks or taking severe body damage),then get a Rubicon or Wrangler. If you want a luxury suv with SOME wheel-a-bility, then the grand will work for you.
