So smart. As soon as I saw your post I had to go look to see if I had that hole in my Jeep. LOL.

I am sloppy with the wax. And a sore point with me has always been my door handles. For the most part my fault.
S8NNG8 pointed out to me he uses some sort of trim stuff and works it in with a nylon bristle brush.
So I decided to try and see if I could do better.
First shot is all my wax build up from being sloppy. Second shot is after I cleaned it up with the Duplicolor Wax And Grease Remover with a nylon bristle brush.
Third shot is me using the Mother Back To Black stuff. First worked it in with a clean nylon bristle brush. The with this small 3" buffing kit I can use with my drill
hit it with this orange stiffer pad. Probably the compound one. Then with a softer black one. Probably a finishing one. Topped off with a fuzzy one.
You really can't see the difference between shots two and three but there is. Between one and tow stands out though. See how this holds up.

My buddy came over so as my last official act of the day gave the front end a once over.
Everything looked good.
ArmorAll has conditioning qualities that'll help the black stay black for years to come. BackToBlack is water soluble so it's best used on the interior.

My daughters first Jeeping experience
It was funny watching two 3yr olds try to discuss what went wrong.

I had the Back To Black already so I figured I would try that. I do expect it to start staining down the side of the Jeep but maybe caused I buffed it in real good might not be so bad. Do you use the regular spray bottle or the Outlast trim stuff?

I don't use B-t-B for anything, mostly cuz it's like shoe polish. It never is a permanent fix and it's never as black as I want it.

I just use the normal spray on stuff. I've kept one of the small bottles for convenient use. I buy the product in bulk.

I saw the bigger 64 ounce containers when I was poking around about it. LOL.

Ever since I got things in the condition I wanted them in years ago, the remainder of product has seemed to last forever.

I grabbed some ArmorAll. Figured I would just go to town on all the trim. So I cleaned up everything like I did the door handles. The first shot is the driver's done but not passengers. I was OK with it. When I did the passengers it just would not come out as black. Don't know why? Cheap products I am using? Maybe the passenger side was faded more? Maybe I truly suck at this stuff? LOL. Anyway third shot is the better side all done. See how it holds up. I got it in my head I wanted one of those canopy tents. So I grabbed one from Dick's Sporting Goods. Thing showed up in one day.
