Default Rust battle

Ok guys I am battling some rust and unfortunately itís pretty bad lol but imma keep on trucking with this project but imma need some advice what should I do about this frame rail rust do they make a plate to go here on these xjs or should I make my own and weld it in

I'm fixing my frame rails too. Check out my post on frame stiffeners.

I am either going with Dirtbound Offroad Rear XJ frame stiffeners

or

Iron Rock Offroad XJ rear frame stiffeners But they are out of stock till the end of april.

Ok Iíll sure do that man I appreciate it. I need to get this fixed for sure itís makes my xj look like trash

What? Are you asking if oil will remove rust? The answer is no. Rust is removed like cancer, you cut it out, seal it up, and add more tissue (steel) for strength.
