Default Water in engine oil. 2001 limited 4.0L, 6 cylinders

i was about to make the oil , filter and becouse I felt it failing also make a spark plugs change. Inside the cap there was condensed drops of water and a filthie beige thick oil rest. I drained the oil took out the sparks and filter. It had 7 quarters of the filthie oil, I use to pour 6 quarters. Two yearsnago I changed the head gasket. Ten days ago I paid a guy to change A/C compressor since it was burned.
I just bought a cylinder compression tester to check it. Actually I've just watched some YouTube's videos but really , I have no idea of the right way to test them and what the parameters are. Also I'm questioning myself if it could be the water pump. Behind the lower wheel in front of engine there is like a round or semi-round gasket that seems to be out of place.
May someone, please, let me know how to find out where from the water got in? And if it doesn't have solution, how to discard it in first instance?
I do appretiate any help in advance.
By the way, I live in Hialeah, FL. Just in case anyone needs to check the cylinder compression for free, I would share the equipment so you dont have to buy it.
Thanks again.

Hello, and Welcome!

COmpression test are easy. Pull all the plugs, Screw the compression test into each cylinder and crank the engine for about 3 seconds. write down the number for each cylinder. They should all be about the same. Any big differences and that's where your problem is.

You can get a coolant system pressure checker. Usually Advance Auto or Autozone will "Lend" you one. You pressurize the cooling system and it will push coolant out where the leak is.

Welcome to the forum. If you had coolant in all cylinders, was this engine sitting out in the rain and getting coolant down the intake? Having condensation in the distributer cap would mean it has been exposed to water too

After rereading I think he meant the oil fill cap not distributer cap. I have had this same thing on my 4.7 but don't recall ever having that on the 4.0......I would do as Gluck suggested and do the compression test. Check your oil ,how's the color ? What's your coolant look like? Have you experienced any oil or coolant loss?

He said something about a beige oil color in the OP.
