A friend of mine swears up and down that he has a 5.2L V8 in his 2001 Grand Cherokee. The Motor is toast and he want's to replace it with another Engine from a J/Y. I've been online checking into this, but i am gathering that the 5.2L was not an option in '01 GC's... only the 4.7L V8...
