This past weekend my club was at Rausch Creek for the weekend. On Saturday we had our 2nd Annual Club Competition. This year the turn-out was small, and the competitors could be counted on two hands. Unfortunately, it was postponed from October, and the weather and new date conflicted with many members' schedule causing the small turnout. Those members who organized the courses had to "dumb them down" a bit because the lack of participation caused us to have only two groups 33" tires and smaller and 34" tires and larger. So courses had to be doable by stockers. It was very tight and technical, but alot of fun. The spring comp should be better with more classes and harder courses.

Sunday we wheeled in the park and hit trails from Green to Blacks. We had about 15 rigs in total, so we decided to run one large group and just get to whatever we could get to. We started on O Trail, then we wheeled Yellowjacket Ridge and the rest of Trail 4, then Trail 2, then we ran D Trail to Crawler Ridge and played there for a while.

It was a good weekend overall. Park conditions were typical of a wintery snowy weekend. The snow and mud made for some very slick conditions.

Here are some pics from Saturday:

Sunday - My girlfriend drove most of the day, this was her on Yellow Jacket Ridge:

Nice pictures, looks like you didnt break anything which is always a good weekend:cheers:
Thanks. Luckily I didn't break anything on my rig. Almost rolled though, which would've really sucked.

I honestly didn't push it too much because I wasn't in the mood to break something and have to lay on my back in 30 degree weather and snow to have to fix anything.

I carry plenty spares for anything major that could ruin the day (front and rear axles, steering, etc). One of my spare front shafts went to my friend who blew a CV joint in his ZJ, so that worked out well because he was able to keep wheeling the rest of the weekend.
