Couple of pics of the light output from my new LED headlights. I didn't have any of my XJ with it's H4s so the comparison is to the more advanced lights in my 2017 Nissian NV3500 van. The leds really kick butt. I'm very happy.

Had it for a while but finally mounted my high lift jack. Currently on the tire carrier but when I eventually do my roof rack I plan on moving it there. Yes it's a 54 inch instead of the more commonly used 48 inch but I needed the extra height for use on our farm.

The first thing I would do is rip that off when I pull int the garage lol. Good spot though assuming it clears your garage door!

It sits lower than my satellite antenna so if I ever put it in the garage. I park my Jeep outside and I don't plan on leaving it on full time. The pictures are from the final fit after install of the brackets. The jack usually lives in the garage.

Jeep has been side lined for awhile due to a non-start issue. Trouble shooting indicated a bad CPS. Changed it out and still not starting but at least trying to start. Checked fuel pressure which is good and within norms. Pumped some fuel into a jar and let it set. Well I have a bunch of water in my gas. Next project drain and clean the tank. Oh well it's a Jeep so it never ends. While under to do found I have a factory skidplate under my transfer case. Never noticed before but never really did any work in that area.

After several months of work and family responsibilities I finally had a little time to work on the Jeep. My last post concerning water in my fuel had me needing to drop my tank to clean it out. Since I have the factory hitch and skid plate it's a little involved. I don't feel like crawling under the XJ to repeat the job for the 3rd time. My idea was to add a fuel cell filler to the top of the tank. Couple holes and a few screws later it's done. Now emptying and cleaning the tank is a simple chore without crawling under the Jeep. Working on a proper cover plate now.

Built a vacuum tank, powered by my MityVac hand pump. Attached some tubing to a magnetic pickup tool. Put it in the tank, thru the fuel cell filler I previously installed, started a siphon with the hand pump and 3 jars of bad gas and water later my tank is clean and dry. I'll get some fresh gas and add some HEET fuel water eliminator for good measure and I should be back on the road again. Last time I dropped, drained and cleaned my tack it took about 3 hours start to finish. This time I have about 1 hour total time invested and didn't have to crawl under the Jeep to do it. If I have to do it again it'll take even less time. Bicycle tire Bicycle handlebar Plant Automotive tire Gauge

Put gas in my heap and went to start her up. Turned on the key and got the warning buzzer but no fuel pump whine, NO FUEL PUMP WHINE!, oh crap. Tried to start and no start, no try to start. Tapped the fuel pump relay and checked the fuse, both good, checked for fuel at the fuel rail and nothing, not a drop of fuel. Fuel pump decided to die again! Did it after the last time I cleaned out my tank. Oh well will have to change the pump again. At least my RENIX pump is easy to get to and change.

If it ain't one thing it's another. Have a new fuel pump and hanger assembly just need to swap it out. Putting serious thought into modifying the old hanger assembly for use with and external fuel pump.

New fuel pump in, good fuel pressure at the rail, tries to start but doesn't catch and run, will try to run a couple of seconds. New CPS with good voltage. When trying to run sounds like too much air so I'll check the TPS and IACV. Also plan on checking the electrical of the B+ Latch, seems intermittently not function, and my grounds. Been sitting since it stopped running due to the water in fuel issue. It was starting and running fine before then. Oh well more trouble shooting ahead.
