When accelerating the is popping and sputtering coming out the exhaust and idles really bad. New spark plugs and fuel filter. Maybe a vacuum leak but not sure? What could it be?

When was the last time the O2 sensors were changed?

It could be bad gas. How many miles?
There should be a vacuum hose diagram on the firewall. Check each for cracks, breaks or dry rot.

1993 jeep xj country sport we were thinking vacuum too but that is usually more of a whistle right?
