Made the mistake of topping off my gas last time I filled up, then noticed gas smell in my garage. Eventually figured out that gas seems to be leaking out of my filler vent tube. So I need a new vent tube, fine. But why the hell is there gas in my fuel filler vent tube? I have driven it enough that any gas in the tube from overfilling should have drained out by now. Perhaps I don't understand how those vents work. Any thoughts?
