My friends uncle owns a fabrication shop and said that I can get some help when I'm ready to do the swap. I decided I'm gonna try and find an old 1998 Cherokee limited and get the 5.9 and transmission out of that. but then I would have to find another vehicle that I can take axles, drivetrain, ect off of and so forth. My other buddy knows these guys that own an auto salvage yard and could get me good prices on things but I'm sceptical about using parts from a salvage yard.

I'm willing to lose ABS and traction control along with everything else the ECU controls . And I was planning on doing a tranny swap too. Only thing is are there any automatic transmissions that will bolt up to a 350 that doesn't use a computer system? I've been reading about some hydraulic automatic trannys but I have no clue how they work. I'm making it into a trail rig the less electronics the better. Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
