2009 Cherokee Model???

The article in this link is describing a new model 2009 Jeep Cherokee. I dont think its right but, just wanted to make sure. Take a gander:

I wish! The morons at Jeep really screwed up when they cancelled the xj.

doubt it's real. they'd have updated the styling a bit.

on a side note, they DID make XJ's up till 2005.

maybe for export but I have not seen any newer than 01 here

until 2005, they were sold as the Jeep 2500.

it is a export. it has euro fender blinkers and its right hand drive. not to mention the (not so english) plate

and dont forget the liberties sold over seas are cherokees

The "Cherokee" that the article is referring to is what we call the "Liberty". Overseas, they are called Cherokees.

So I guess whoever wrote this article got the wrong picture too, cause that looks like an XJ, not the new liberty.

that thing was an xj someone put together over in china or japan. ive seen that thing before.
