Quoted for the truth:thumbsup:RE 3.5 superflex! do it right the first time IMO
Just remember he wants 3"..RE 3.5 will net you typically over 4" of lift..Mine came in at 4.25"...Rough Country now has a 3" lift that comes with coil springs, leaf springs, new lower control arms and shocks... All you would need after that is some extended rear brake lines, relocate the track bar and it would be pretty much complete. Then you would need to look at either a transfer case drop or SYE.RE 3.5 superflex! do it right the first time IMO
Couldnt have said it better myself, well done:cheers:I would highly suggest not relocating the track bar and just getting a adjustable bar Rough make a OK one really cheap or Rubicon and Trek makes a bar that would be very hard to hurt. I would stay away from blocks, add a leafs are OK full leaf packs are best. you will also want look for a kit that comes with at least new lower control arms the stock arms are stamped and are known to fold after lifted. as for the SYE and transfer case drop the SYE would be the right way, but the drop will get you by.
RE 3.5 superflex! do it right the first time IMO
IMO the reason I went with RE is because of their quality and most of all their "completeness". There arent many other kits out there that are more complete then RE with solid components.ok seriously whats with the bow down to R.E.?????? I won't deny they make good equipment but there are others that are just as good if not better
what about Full Traction!!!! They are very well known for their "completeness" Rock Krawler also is a very complete Kit, both with high quality solid componetsIMO the reason I went with RE is because of their quality and most of all their "completeness". RK are good kits but I have no experience with FT.what about Full Traction!!!! They are very well known for their "completeness" Rock Krawler also is a very complete Kit, both with high quality solid componets
Just and FYI the RC trackbar is for 4.5" or more of lift..They don't make one for their 3" lifts...I only know of JKS who makes one for a 3" lift..I would highly suggest not relocating the track bar and just getting a adjustable bar Rough make a OK one really cheap or Rubicon and Trek makes a bar that would be very hard to hurt. Yep they are really good kits but if meory serves they are pricey and the FT only comes in a 6" lift of the XJ and the Rock Crawler only comes in a 4.5" lift.. Now I will say this they cost more but you are dead on compared to say RC they are much more complete. I like the fact that the basic rock crawler kit comes with the track bar and new frame mount and the drop pitman arm..what about Full Traction!!!!
