the turd dana 30 is almost ready..just need to get a new track bar...

and this was my question..

should i drop it back to 4.5 and put 33s under it...or should i leave it a 6.5 and put 35s under it...

which ever happends the truck is going to get 456s eventually and tnt long arms...

I say drop it to 4.5 and put 35's under it, but hey that's just me. The lower the CG the better..

Well I like the look of 6.5 and 35's but thats just me. I know that 35's will casue more problems with more stress on steering and such, but I would personally just use that as an excuse to beef things up

yeah...have in mind im only putting the parts under it to give it to my brother in decent conditon for wheeling/offroading....

i may go with the 4.5 and 33s....

since the 30 i got has the stock steering in it..i dont think its smart for 35s with the steering or 6.5 of lift

ok I think I missed something. You getting a new XJ and giving your brother your current one? Or what?

ahh ok, ya I missed that. In that case I would go with the 4.5 and 33's to make it a bit safer and reliable. I'm on 33's and I don't have any problems with traction.

Wish I had a big brother so I could "inherit" his XJ

well ok fine. marty from RLF's XJ is one of my faves. he's at 5" and runs 35s, and he has a white XJ like yours. too bad his server is down or something.
