92 6"skj U/D w/pic's

Well I bought a new to me XJ today. I will be picking it up on friday. I will post some pics then.
It is a 92 power everything. leather seats,:bow: 6" skyjacker :bow:and 33's with aftermarket rims 15x8.:rock::rock:
I can not wait to take her down the back trail and try it out.
It needs some work but hay the lift is just over a year old and for a grand well worth it and it comes with a spare jeep. :rofl::rofl:
Can't wait to post some pic's and show it off

Great Jeep's are built not bought.
Sometimes a better platform to begin with is one that already has some mods done to it.

I've built mine up from scratch, my next one I'm planning on buying semi-built so that I can put my time, effort, and most importantly-my money-into things that I haven't been able to do with this one. Economically speaking, sometimes buying a Jeep that has been slightly modified and continuing its modification is cheaper than starting from scratch again.

Congrats to the OP, and x2 on seeing some pics!

My thoughts exactly, my next rig will have a good lift already on it so I can afford to put money into things like lockers that I havent been able to explore as of yet.

Yeah I bought mine "Already Lifted" and have since redone the entire lift to better suite it to what I would be using it for. When I first got it it was lifted with stacked 1.5" blocks in the rear and 2" and 1" Coil spacers stacked. Look at it now Was a good platform and I learned alot in the build up I done;)

Well im talking about a lift worth keeping, obviously 1.5" blocks arent worth keeping maybe except for a paper weight.

I new that it would get ya looking. yes I will post the pics on friday when I go pick it up.
I was by myself when I went to look at it. and did not even think I was going to get it because of the price. but I workd a deal with the guy he is keeping the 35's that are on it and I am getting the 33's that he has.

anyone that say a 6" skyjacker lift with or with out a jeep bolted to it for a grand must have money to burn.
I realy did not care what the jeep looked like, I was going to look at it for the lift, rims and, tires.
As it turned out that the jeep was worth that if it did not have the lift and well I think I got a steel of a deal.

For me to go spend almoat 2 grand for an re 4.5 lift or the Skyjacker that I wanted even more, when I can spend half that for 6" of lift and get spare parts why not.
as for build I do not know if this will be built or I will just swap parts over to the 91. then I can use the body for the Mj xj build I want to do. I will have to see when she gits home and I realy go over the jeep.

I've always wanted one of skyjacker's rock ready long arm kits. They are sweet. Not exactly street-friendly but they PERFORM off road. Lookin forward to those pictures. :)

my first lifted Xj in 95 wasa 91 with 3" skyjacker. I had at the time all kinds of lifted chevs but I like the hight performance you get from skyjacker. after the 3" I added spacers and shackles to get about 4.5 turned out to be more like 5 to 5.5 and had 33's on it. after that I changed the hole thing when I droped it the 454 and made a basterd lift out of a bunch of stuff I had in the back yard.
but I realy wanted a 6 or 8" ever sence then. so with the price of this thing as a hole jeep I could not pass it up.
I cant wait to post to read the rplies.

My 2nd lift on my Tj was the 3" skyjacker with old man emu shocks (then swapped out for skyjacker hydros). With either shock, it rode nice and high. The softride springs are pretty soft.

:bow::bow:

You have to start somewhere and I for one will be starting this with a lift on it or may just build on good one out of it and the 91. he!! it may be the start of my Mj XJ build so I can keep driving the 91. to just say great jeeps are built not bought is stupid and has no substance at all. :brickwall:

you have to buy a jeep or parts or something to start a build with.
come back when you have something of value to say.:devil:
I am guessing you just opend the garage door one day and had a bunch of money in your pocket, to much time on your hands so you started to build a great jeep out of nothing. :confused:
made a molde and started building your own frame or did you build your owne engine first.
Man some people just type and do ot even read or think what they are typing.:rofl:
I know that my spelling may not be right but at lest I say something worth saying.:bow:
I have to give it to you :bow: you are the JEEP GOD of all GODS:bow::bow::bow:
I am going to have to think of you like one of the great bike builders of coppers. just order online parts bolt them to something that looks like a frame that holds up 2 wheels and say you are the greats bike builder. like OCC or something.: NOT
anyone can just order parts and bolt them on.:bow::bow:
WOW I could just go on and on about your post but as a wise man once said why bother with stupidity when there ia great things to be thought about. Oh and that was I that said that.
