Hey Guys...new to the forum. I got a 95 Cherokee XJ 2door for my son that seems to be some sort of unicorn. Amazingly hard to find parts for it! Anyway, tore all the interior out due to leaking doors and even get some water seeping in from the firewall. Door seals are good but think the hinges need work as they sag a bit. So, need some guidance/suggestions on what to do about the door sag, i.e. replace pins, reweld hinges, etc. And suggestions on water leaks. Thanks...Cheers!

The pins are non replaceable, but there are shims in between the door and the hinge, you can try to loosen up the door a little and either shim the bottom a little more or try to adjust it to make it sit right. If ya can't get it that way, then prob time to reweld the hinges on. I'd try to make that last resort.

As for the firewall leak, good chance you have a leaky seal around the blower motor, or the cowl drains are plugged up from dirt and debris over the years. Best bet is to pull the blower motor and try to scrape out any muck that could be below that, I believe the cowl drains on the pass side of the jeep, then try to blast it out with air. Try flushing afterward with water to ensure it flows freely.

welcome to the forum. Ihave a 2 door also and all the parts cross over to the 4 door except the door itself and some interior panels. As far as the doors go, there are shims under the door hinge where it bolts to the door. Pull one out of the top and put in the bottom. Repeat if necessary

Thanks guys...I had heard about the seal around the blower so I'll dive into that. Doors are driving me nuts because water seems to follow the seal down and actually comes in over the bottom of the seal about midway on the door. Door seal is good. I think re-welding is a must, at least the drivers door as long as I get it pushed back into place and adjust the door.

I've ordered different parts and have had to return them because they do not fit the XJ 2door even though they show fitment. For example, cannot find the damn EOM fender flares. Ordered 2 sets now that said they fit the 95 2door but they were not even close. Anyone know a good vendor/site for 95 jeep XJ's?
Thanks...!!
