At least the ZJ alternator is far easier to reinstall than the XJ. I'm dreaming to think I'd never have to do the XJ ever again, ya right!!

I took out my A/C and installed my alternator up high with a relocation bracket. Piece of cake to change now!!!

Glockmysock. I think I read where you did that. I am hoping that I am good now and will not have to fool with this in a very long time.

I have picked up two wranglers. TJs
I am swapping the 4 cylinder for the 4.0. Other forums say you cannot use a 4.0 from a Cherokee. They say everything is different.
I even looked at a guys TJ and his was set up with the ac compressor on the drivers side.

So i trade for a wrecked TJ for a donor.
Looked at the motor and the ac compressor and the alternator is set up just like my xj. 😁

Yeah, I did that as part of my 2 speed Taurus fan install this past summer.
