I have another mod planned. I have metal cloak adjustable UCA. I picked up a set of their duroflex bushings for the upper mounts on the axle. I have to cut off the passenger side mount and weld in their mount then I use their bushing. That will give me an additional 5-10 degree of Flex at those ends. So when I'm done, it should Flex like a mofo!

Well, I got the chinesium control arm drop brackets installed. About 6 hours, over 2 days by myself. And I must say, WOW! what a difference! It rides so much smoother. The front tires don't rub either. I drove over a rock about 12-18" high. I clenched my teeth as I waited for the bang, but I must have been fir enough away, for there was no bang, just a smooth drop. WOOT friggin woot. No pics, saw wee. still have to tweak the alignment, track bar and caster. But a thumbs up from me, for now. I will report if I ever get off road again, seems a long way off.

Well, I took pics. Since I am teleworking from home, I thought I would give her some love. The drop brackets leveled out my control arms. It's hard to see in the pics.

I still have some steering issues to iron out and some more suspension tweaks. But I like them so far. (y)

Welp, I drilled a new hole for my trac bar cause it was binding, then I had to drill another hole cause then it was too long, And I had to adjust the steering linkage cause my steering wheel was about half a turn off. Steering is almost perfect, I need to make another adjustment. Anyhow I have finished the drop bracket install, I need to put the rear angle brackets on, but that's no biggie. I converted my front bushings to Metal Cloaks's fusion ball. I had to cut off the passenger side bushing and weld in a new mount. Gives 15% more articulation than a clevite bushing. I didn't take any closeups, but I will. I need to get 1-2" longer shocks and longer brake lines. Here are some posers. ;)

I got tons of paint. Finding the time is the issue. My goal is to POR(reasonable facsimile thereof) the rust before winter.

Thats a good goal with a better solution. I'm in the same boat of course. Just got my POR shipment a week or so ago. I tried the aerosol cans on the mini wheels. Guess I'll see how it holds up. Chances are its not worth the $32 per spray can! But it was way easier to apply than brushing it on my wheels. The jeep will get the plain old brush on stuff.

To be fair, I think msrp is like $32, I probably paid the amazon price of 20-something
OK I was thinking for a minute they might have come out with POR 15 in a spray can.
Which would be awesome but probably kill you. Need to be hazmatted out to spray it.
We mix paint and can put it in spray cans at the store. I always toy with the idea of having
a rattle can made using the POR 15. But danger factor is just to high.
