I'm by all means not a Jeep mechanic. I swapped out a 97 4.0 with a 93 4.0 in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got the motor swap done . now I have a something binding. I dropped the transmission and there's scratch marks on the flywheel but I can't see anything leaving the marks. I just been working on it little by little after work every once in awhile but I'm at my Wit's End. thanks for any tips and I'll add more about what I find out as I check on it. I'll check this once a day and update as I can. I have the 42re transmission

Someone can probably help you better if you lay out sme details like which flywheel you used, or if you boght a new one and for what year (im unsure if they are the same between 93 and 97). Just to be clear: the engine is running fine, but you aren't going anywhere because something is binding?
