I am writing a paper on Military Psychology for my History of Psych. class. I know that we have alot of members around who are/have been in the U.S. military, so I would really appreciate your help with a couple questions that I have! Currently I'm just trying to gather data so I can develop some type of thesis. There is alot of information online, but I know I can get more of the "straight scoop" from you guys


When you enlisted, what types of psychiatric screening did you go through?

Was this screening by a doctor?

What year did you enlist?

I went into the Marine Corps in 1999. I think there was an assessment of like 800 questions that we did. I dont remember for sure though.

Don,t know if it helps but i was in australian army , enlisted in 04 had detailed questionnaire and in depth psych evaluation by a psychiatrist
