Been trying to find a Cherokee 2door Automatic and it seems impossible. Everything is manual transmission.
Which years the 2 door auto was released?

As far as I know, 84 - 01. I have an 86 two door. Since they were the basic XJ, even in higher trim levels they were standard trannys

I have a buddy who is looking for an 2dr auto. They are unicorns. Cause every one I have found has a manual tranny. You can covert them, it just doesn't seem like it was a common factory option. Not sure why????

I've heard the convertion thing. Not my style.
Never seen a 1997-01 Automatic 2 dr.
Would be interesting to know an estimate of 2dr made, how many per year and how many manual vs auto
