Just changed the alternator on my 92 I6 xj because the battery wasn`t charging when the car is running. Im going to have a look over all the conections in the electrical circuit, does anybody have a chart that shows the contents of the circuit between the battery and the alternator?

I don't have one specifically for the 92. But when wiring from scratch, one cable would go from the alternator to the starter pole where the battery cable goes and one would go to the power distribution center. Sometimes there is a fusible link or inline fuse involved, but I have never cared for that approach. My winch pulls more than those fuses
