How many of you went or is going shopping?

I see people at my work sitting down waiting for the store to open. They been there three hours so far. I go out there and ask them why and they say "cuz i'll be the first in line, no waiting".:rofl::rofl:

Lady, you just waited 3 hours sitting on the floor.....:brickwall:

I can't wait till the store opens (lunch break right now) so i can see the scavengers storm the store like zombies running after fresh live meat. The lines normally build up a couple hundred feet long. People are nuts.

Several of the stores around here opened at 4:00 am Today. As You can see, I'm sitting home instead of getting involved in the Lunacy. I will get out later after the Vultures have departed.:D

Mine's open 24 hours, but they don't allow shoppers to take the sale items till 5am. By 4am, there were hundreds of people camping out around the items on the pallets, eyeballing them like they were rare michael jordan rookie cards. It's ridiculous. Within the first 10 minutes, 3/4 of the merchandise was in carts heading to the registers.

if you were hoping to get an item at a reduced price, there's little chance you will. Almost everything was gone so quickly.

We had 40" flat screen tv's for $600. There were four pallets of them, about 50 tv's. Gone in 30 minutes.

Maybe in a little while, I don't see the thrill. Anyone hear about the Wal-Mart worker who was trampled to death this morning? Morons don't realize there are actual people working at these stores, not robots. And as Kyle just said, it's just stuff you are running after.

YA that was in New York at the same time they also trampled a Pregnant lady making her miss carry.. All at the same store... It's sick.

I'll spend a little more get a little less, but at least I won't have to punch some stupid person in the face..

People are crazy. Last year I camped at best buy for a laptop and a whole bunch of other stuff. I got some really good deals. But I was second in line. and just waiting over night there where 3 fights before the store even opened. I wont ever do it again. last year was my first and last time camping out for sales. People will really kill for these material items.

Damn you drakan! That dang video. That's the 2nd time today i saw that.

Anyways, I have a feeling that the dudes in toys r us brough their guns to intimdate other shoppers in case they found an item they wanted. Just point the gun and say "gimme!". But of course that plan never happened and they ended up using it to kill each other while the wives beat each other. :brickwall:

We went out at about 8 in the morning.. Hit Shopko, it was pretty busy in there. Then we headed over to Wally-World. The parking lot was nuts, so we went to the new Tractor Supply Co. store that just opened. Most excellent place for off-road stuff and parts. By the time we went back to Wally it had really cleared out. The cashiers looked pretty ragged though.

Stopped at Quzino's for lunch and the meat market for some steaks. Got home around 1pm and had about 3/4'ers of our Christmas shopping done.
