ok I have a big cash for parts dilema,

Ive been talking with Jason from JO for a set of OME 2.5" leafs, with bushings, shipped to my door. so the leafs are 111.50 each.. so about 240 both of them, and IDK the bushings and well shipping is 180 .. so in total Im guessing is a $450 hit.. so my question is..

should I spend all that money on rear leafs? IDK what surprises my XJ might come up with, IDK any mechanical issues it may have that I would need the money for,, so IDK if I should buy them, or just buy some $60 leaf booster or helper so my leafs arent flat.. and save up for a bastard pack or find some one. selling a pair...

let me know guys what to doo, bc im very impulsive and might end up buying this and then regreting it later when I have a big mechanical issue..
:confused::confused::confused:

If your looking at doing bastard packs do them.. (Save the cash) you can use alot of different leafs and get them way cheep in a Junk Yard..

you can use Ranger, Bronco II, S-10, Exploder and/or many others to do the bastard pack..

I did s10 bastard packs on my wifes xj and I love it, they keep the back from swaying on these crooked mountain roads. It also pulls my 4x8 trailer alot better, probably doesnt flex as much though. She has no problem keeping up with me though.

forget those.

250 for leafs with bushings? Doesnt sound too bad to me.

Also if you win this membership referral contest you will have to pay that much less:cheers:
that does not sound bad to me either but add that to 180 of shipping, that becomes 430 for all

dude i told you...the leafs are in a good range $$ wise...shipping is crazy man...and...w.e you get is going to cost you that much....honestly...get a bastard pack...spend around 100?...or less....or may be a little more....

once you live in the states buy everything you want....but...i think

450$ for just leafs is a lot..(because of the shipping)

thats a kit...i mean...buy the kit...ship it to my house and i will keep it safe under my xj...muhahahaha

:rofl::D

honestly dude save your money...and at least paint the truck at a body shop....i mean if you move here either you bring your xj here or buy one here....but 180$ on leafs is a lot of money....just IMO

Even though i recommend the OME leaf springs, paying that much for shipping kinda kills the deal. I would go bastard for now.

I'm still up for the Belto Fund and would donate for shipping :) $5 donating per people could gather a bit of $$. any takers?

Its a process, a lot of mixing and matching is involved. Some people just put the main leaf in and it gets them over 2" and others use 4 leafs to accomplish that. Depends on the condition of both packs.

:) Well now with the shackles I would probably guess that your packs have flattened a bit.

So you are probably going to need to mix two or three leafs into your current pack to get the desired height.
