Does your rig ride rough in the cold? Mine's like a dumptruck now. Rides kinda rough and stiff when it's really cold out. The square tires do not help either. They beat like a drum set...thump thump...thump...thump...thump..thumpthumpthump....thump-a-thump.

I like the free cold air intake when you first start going.

Ya it runs pretty rough but I think that is just the nature of the engine.

Most vehicles I have owned besides one rides rough when cold. But motor wise runs great.

I can tell when the BFG MT are cold. Keep in mind 34 degrees is cold here.

Suspension seems to be a bit stiff when it's cold but engine wise it runs good. Starts slow but that's cause I need a new battery.

All of your suspension parts isolators (ie rubber grommets/bushings/etc) are now frozen....they are no longer soft and pliable when in the warmer weather. You WILL have a stiffer ride.

Mine is a 88 and it's fine, no problems when cold, just starting up.

Yup. Today it was 42 and the jeep road like a dream. What a difference weather makes.

the ride quality on my work truck sucks, any time of the year, mostly cause of tha 8 springs in the rear leaf packs
cherokee is not bad, considering the type of lift im running

Some tires go ever so slightly "flat" on the bottom as they sit overnight or over time. They can feel rough until warmed up by running on the road.

We here in Kentucky usually become stark-raving lunatics whenever someone from Florida comes up here to brag about the weather down south.


On subject, my ride is a bit rougher these winter mornings than it was during the summer.

I still notice the difference between the seasons, even with my long arm kit. It's stiffer and a bit harsher now that it's below 32 but it recently got above 50 and it was nice and soft. Bushings, bushings, and tires.
