Hey guys, do you believe this is a coolant leak? Opened my hood and noticed this. Secondarily, my coolant reservoir
is low. It smells sweet. How would I go about addressing this? And should I fill my coolant reservoir with water if it is empty? I am currently in Phoenix AZ. Thank you guys.

Yes, coolant leak. Remove the hose and clean it. The question is however if it is rotted too much. Looks like it was run with straight water and not coolant or with tap water instead of distilled water

Replace that clamp also. it looks like the heater control valve. if its rusted you can replace the valve.
