i have a friend that has a Q about adding a Jeep Wrangler Dana 35 posi trac loc limited slip that he can get for $75. My question is will it fit his 1994 Dana 35.

I know that people thing you should not put money to a D35 since its better just to upgrade to a D44.. but just to answer his question,, will it fit?

It will but tell him to get a c8.25 29spl off of an XJ for around 100$, just my opinion.

Well.. the correct answer is maybe...

We don't know the axle ratio on either axle. The carrier split on a D-35 is at 3.55 so if the axles are on the opposite side of the split, he can't use the Trash-Loc without also changing gears.
