mike if you still have those ill take them off you hands for the 97 just let me know what you want for themI used to run the Alloy USA brand ones on mine...really liked them. Just make sure you really clean up the first 2 inches of the axle tube really well for ease of installation. Unfortunately, when I switched to CV axles, I had to take them out. But the cv boots ride pretty close to the axle tube, basically serving the same function.

Yup. I wasn't surprised to see it like that. I had water getting in there everytime i went off road and that bad seal was the reason.
Not a whole lot, from what I have read they are very similar as far as quality goes.Any difference between the Alloy USA and the Superior axle seals?
