If you are a heavy mudder, these would be a wise investment. I can't count how many times i cleaned out my axle tubes on my tj. Always packed with mud.

It also reduces the chances of shoving debris in the diff when you re-install the axle shafts.

I used to run the Alloy USA brand ones on mine...really liked them. Just make sure you really clean up the first 2 inches of the axle tube really well for ease of installation. Unfortunately, when I switched to CV axles, I had to take them out. But the cv boots ride pretty close to the axle tube, basically serving the same function.

Yup. I wasn't surprised to see it like that. I had water getting in there everytime i went off road and that bad seal was the reason.

Gotta love mud.

That's what i meant by shoving stuff in there when you re-install axle shafts. I felt a bit funny when I put the shafts in that day so i opened the diff and saw my lockright packed with dirt. if only i had the seals.........
