Anyone have any idea how much it is going to cost to have a diagnostic run on my 89 cherokee? I can't remember how much the last one cost.

Also the "friend" who replaced my injectors told me that all that will be done is they will plug it in to a computer and they will clear the error codes and like magic everything that is wrong with the jeep will be cured. All for less than $100.00. I think it is more involved than that.

Let me add that we have already put more than $2,000 into it and it still does not run worth a crap.

Well if you go to any parts store they will check/clear codes for free.

well what your friend describe sounds just like a code scan,, and well some shops do that for free.. so IDK

what are your symptoms some of us might help you out

It will all come together, autozone/napa places like that will do it for you.
