eye goggles
gloves
longs sleeves
closed footwear
ect....

I use to use gloves but I end up with out them.. for the eyes im considering since last times under the xj stuff has gotten in them.. I dont use long sleeves sometimes not even a shirt and well IDK why but I dont use any type of footwear (I know I know is dangerous I could loose a finger or two,, even my hole foot, but I cant,, I use my feet as an extra pair of hands..)

You could "lose a finger or two" by not wearing shoes? Have you considered a career in carnivals? :D

Anyways, I usually wear flip-flops, old shorts, and a t-shirt. Rarely use gloves, never wear long sleeves, and my vision sucks, so my coke-bottle glasses could stop a bullet.

Eye care is a must for me. I already lost my ears and if my eyes run off....uh oh.

I wear gloves when i work on greasy parts, otherwise i prefer gloveless for better traction.

I used to wear a small helmet but since the jeep is high now, i can climb under there without banging my head on something.

You are a danger to yourself and others. I think you need some help (read councilling)
I know I should use some.. but with gloves on I cant feel it right, nor I have the traction I want,, and shoes, im not saying it again..

I wear gloves almost all the time when I'm working on our vehicles. I've got two pairs of Mechanics Impact gloves - one for regular use and one for greasy stuff, though usually if it's greasy/oil I'll go bare handed so I don't mess up my gloves (go figure). If I'm working with brake fluid I'll wear some nitrile gloves, but I hate wearing them (hate what brake fluid does to my hands even more though).

I always wear shoes. Can't stand flip-flops, and I rarely wear my Tevas or Birks working in the garage.

long sleeves and long pants just depends on the weather... in the summer - shorts and a t-shirt.

Safety glasses... always when using power tools or air tools, or if I'm working on the vehicle while something is running (ie: engine running), or if I'm doing brake lines/fluid.

Whenever I am doing any type of construction I like to wear closed toed shoes and gloves if I have em. As for helping Kyle with the Jeep, I usually wear grungy clothes (you can count on getting dirty ) and closed toed shoes. I don't help him do anything too hardcore so that's about all I need.

I'm glad to see you all are safe...keep it up!

Did you read how Belto dresses to work on his Heep? You may want to re-think that last statement!!

all depends on the project at hand. If I am welding or fabbing something, then I will wear the proper clothing and safety attire, but if I am just doing a simple repair, I might wear shorts and flip-flops. Eye protection is a must for me since I have to have my glasses to see what the hell I am doing :D
