Well we have Ron Popeal and the pocket fisherman.....lol.a few years ago our company did a modern marvel episode about grease kinda ticked me off cause they used the building that I took care of but my boss was the one that got to do it.it was the 40 story gulf tower in downtown Pittsburgh ...on a sad note that family owned company that had been in business for 193yrs was gobbled up by a corporate monster and many people lost there jobs

I lived in an apartment before we moved into our little slice of heaven and all I had was a push mower I did it twice be for I got pissed off enough and loaded the wife and kids in the car and headed to sears the wife was not happy DJM

What happens when you put more gas in? Sounds like you may have been given the wrong fuel pump

Your float for the gauge could be wrong too

Are you sure there is a quarter tank

It should have been correct outta the box but you know how that goes try filling up and drive it and see how many miles it is till it runs out (carry a full gas can with you)

My interns seemed to have quite a handle on this.. But I do think it has to do with the way the pump is in the tank, the float or sock.. What engine do you have?

Are you sure all of the hoses were put back in to their original ports and no cracked or rotted hose or pump just bad outta the box

You very well could have bump the float putting it back in which would throw of your gauge the rod is actually smaller than a piece of coat hanger did you change the filter on the pump
