XJ = Cherokee '84-'01
MJ = Comanche '86-92
ZJ = Grand Cherokee '93-'98
WJ = Grand Cherokee '99-'04
WK = Grand Cherokee '05-Present
XK = Commander
YJ = Wrangler '87-'95
TJ = Wrangler '96-'06
LJ = Wrangler Unlimited '04-'06

All they are is factory designations - how they're referred to internally within Jeep.

Heh, I always thought they were from '92.... my bad :cheers:

BowTie - how do you know she has the NP242? I don't see it specified in her specs profile? Country's didn't come with the NP242 by default, they could've been opted with either tcase.
