Voted today...ours lasts only 5 weeks, because that's plenty of time for any voter who cares to be informed to find out what they need to know about the candidates...

I'll be SO happy when the soap opera between Obama & McCain is finally done!

Why do they take so long?

"informed voter" THAT is the issue here too. We have too many fat, lazy, worthless people in the US that have no idea what's going on.:brickwall: They are like sheep:bow:...following the politician that promises the biggest handouts!

If after ALL this time you still don't know WHO your voting for, you do NOT deserve the the right to vote.

My .02 worth.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, That's America. I'm changing my vote to Obama since I'm poor, he's not giving me a tax cut, he's gonna send me a check. Sweet at least I can buy some supplies for the depression he's gonna put us in.

I voted last week. I didn't know where I'd be today... As it is, it turns out I ship out tomorrow to somewhere (wish I knew, I'll find out when I get there). Anyways. Pre-voting takes all the drama of the final days before the election out of the equation, it's already too late!

I felt a little 'blah' about this election.

Funny isn't it? After we were told we NEEDED to spend $700 BILLION dollars...more like $850 BILLION, to "fix" the "problem" the economy still tanks. Now they say we need to spend another $250 BILLION. That's over a TRILLION dollars and we still are sliding into a recession.

What's sad is, the ignorant masses will most likely put Obama in the White House, and he's promised to spend even, er...."redistribute" more.

IMO, we are setting ourselves up for someone to come along in the mold of a Hitler. "I can fix the problems, just put me in power". Goodbye America that I knew.:brickwall:

And what is really sad is, the ignorant masses will continue to stand behind him, rather than admit they were wrong for electing another DEMOCRAP into office.

Obama is running on the issue of CHANGE. Do you know what his change is? C.H.A.N.G.E. -

We don't have to leave, all we have to do is take are country back. They work for us and they are elected by us. Let's do something really silly and vote out the one's that don't do what the people want. American's have alway's stood up and fought for our, and many others freedom. Why should we be the generation that failed all of those brave men and wemon before us, and loose are freedom too are own goverment. Sad..

That WILL work, it did here in Indianapolis. They voted to allow our property taxes to be raised, and people went ballistic! They even had the gaul to tell us "they" would set up a payment plan for us to pay our taxes.

We, the voters here in Marion County decided we'd had enough and voted most of them out including the Mayor! So to say" my vote dosen't count" is wrong thinking. If enough of those voters votes, things can change. Granted you need more votes than the worthless, lazy, slob voters can muster.

We live in a society of sissies. Everybody expects someone else to fix their problems for them. Look at the financial companies in crisis. They screwed up. Instead of standing up and admitting their mistakes, they ran to BIG BROTHER for help. Bing Bang Boom... $850,000,000,000 (that's a lot of zeroes) later, they still don't know if they are going to make it. Its time that the American People stop cowering behind the knee of the government, and kick that knee out from underneath of it. Stop passing the blame to someone else and accept responsibility for our actions. At the rate things are going, the United States is going to be the next third world country.

Its those lazy incompetent people who are going to be the downfall of our country. Just the other day I had a friend tell me that she didn't understand why I got so fired up over the whole election and politics issues because my vote doesn't count anyways. Just think, if everybody thought like that, then my vote really wouldn't count. But I don't let other people make decisions for me. I pay attention to the issues at hand, I feel in my heart that I am knowledgeable enough to make a sound decision in who I vote for. Now if everyone would do that, then we could take back what is ours. THE GOVERNMENT BY THE PEOPLE OF THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE. Not this socialistic "let someone else call the shots" sham of a ruling body we have now.
