X2, seafoam works wonders. I would try that before anything else.
seafoam, isnt it supposed to go in the intake? or can I drop some inside the engine with the engine oil and stuff? and how should i drop it? directly after an oil change, or before the oil change,, ?

Read the directions, most people put it in through the TB.
well if it put through the TB how would it clean the gunk inside the engine were the oil is at?
It will help clean the inside of the engine where harmful buildup can occur.
okok,, Ive well most of the gunk I saw was on the lifters, and all, inside the engine..

You can add it to the oil. I think is says so on the can. Do it before an oil change, and not long before... It's not a proper lubricant.

The same can be done with lots of other junk. Like I said in the other thread, kerosene, jet fuel, ATF, and probably a bunch of other things are commonly used.
so I can put some in the oil, have the engine ON or OFF? just half an hour before the oil change?

I can't answer that. I've never done it and have little desire to.

However, I think the idea is to just toss it in there and run it for 10 minutes or so and then drain your oil. Running or not...

out of curiosity why do you have lil desire to do something like this?

Personally I wouldnt put anything in the oil other then oil, but thats just me.
ok so just seafoam it throw the intake and thats it? the only thing ive put inside the engine, its one product I dont remember the name now,, Ill post it up as soon as I remember
I use #2 diesel. It has a higher lubricity than Kerosene but work wonders. Drain the oil. Spin on el-cheapo filter, pour in gallon of diesel, start it up run it for 10 minutes, shut it off. drain it again, spin on good filter and re-fill with oil...

That's asking for touble. Maybe you haven't had any yet, but it's still asking for it. All diesel formulas have better lubricating properties than white kerosene or jet fuel, but not much better. All they have to lubricate is the vanes on an injector pump. Which is f' all compared with lubricating a plain bearing.

Plain bearings are very easy to damage... A couple seconds without lubrication can shorten their life considerably.
I have used Chevron Upper head and injector cleaner. It seemed to do something. to be honest idk.

Lucas valve and injector cleaner did something though. poured it in a with a fresh tank so gas and it was like i had new injectors all over again.
