This one always seems to get people talking...

For a cheap beer, I prefer lucky. It's probably not possible to buy it outside of Canada. Probably for good reason. But we've had some good times, and some bad times, and really a lot of times together.

For something more or less not just 'to get drunk' I prefer Guiness. And lately a microbrewery called Okanagan Springs is making a 'Black' beer that I quite like (I'm not sure if my stomach agrees with me though, more testing is required). And I think MGD is a pretty decent beer for enjoying.

I've also been known to drink Strongbow, which isn't really beer, but whatever...

Can't stand American Light beer unless I have no other options. I really feel for y'all!

As for a few GOOD beers:
-Big Rock IPA (Canada)
-Innis & Gunn (Scotland)
-Kilkenny or Guinness (Ireland)
-Granville Island Lager (Canada)
-Negra Modelo (Mexico)

To name a few...

P.S. Bud, Coors, Miller, Corona, and other major brands SUCK!!!.........................IMHO.

I tried drinking beer when I was 18. The only time it tasted good was when it was from a keg and very cold. So cold that I couldn't taste the beer taste. That is when I thought, "This is dumb." I mean why drink something that doesn't taste good?

Never had any since then.

I thought the same thing for a long time. I didn't drink until I was about 20-21 because I was convinced all beer was disgusting. But when I could actually buy it, I used to go to the local spirits shop and make myself custom 6-packs. I figured out what I liked and stuck with it. I don't touch the light, domestic stuff that most people drink, because yes, it IS disgusting. That stuff should only be drank by people who are looking to consume mass quantities for little money - i.e. college kids. But there are beers out there that cater to more discriminating tastes.
