Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House.
This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009.

We just learned yesterday about this on the Peter Boyles radio program.

Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because it is flying under the radar.

To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.

Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

.It is registered

.You are fingerprinted

.You supply a current Driver's License

.You supply your Social Security #

.You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing

.Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.

.There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18.

They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along. Any hunters in your family - pass this along.

Peter Boyles is on this and having guests. Listen to him on KHOW 630 a.m. in the morning. He suggests the best way to fight this is to tell all your friends about it and "spring into action". Also he suggests we all join a pro-gun group like the Colorado Rifle Association, hunting associations, gun clubs and especially the NRA.

This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.

This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not.

If you take my gun, only the criminal will have one to use against me. HR 45 only makes me/us less safe. After working with convicts for 26 years I know this bill, if passed, would make them happy and in less danger from their victims.

Search Results - THOMAS (Library of Congress)

H.R. 45: Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 (GovTrack.us)

Please.. copy and send this out to EVERYONE in the USA

The sponsor of the bill is Bobby Rush(D-ILL)

Wow, this sucks. I don't own a gun, but by no means am I anti-gun. I like the fact that people are able to own (and in some states) carry arms as they please. If it wasn't for those laws then we wouldn't be the U.S. of A. today....

I have always thought for years the the government was going to try something like this , so for years everytime I go to town I bring back a box of ammo to add to my storage. I own three rifles, two shot guns, one pistol, and lots and lots of ammo to go with them.

No Finney, I currently don't own nor have I ever owned a gun. I can only imagine what I'm missing as I have several friends that own guns and shoot regularly, and I'm dying to get to the range with them. My girlfriend's dad also owns several guns and has shown me them, etc. I'm definately into it, just haven't had the funds nor someone who I trust enough to show me how to use one properly and responsibly. I'm hoping that within the next 6 months I'll get out and actually learn to shoot and handle weapons.

Even if I never own one, I'd never want to lose the ability to either potentially own one myself, or for others to lose their right to own them.

Get a 12ga., a 270, or a .44. depending on what type of gun you want you are covered if you gt one of these.

The 12ga. all around the best gun you can hunt anything and protect your self.
The .270 great hunting rifle good for field or woods.
The .44 Well I personaly wouldn't mess with you.

I'd say get a .22 ,a 12ga. and a 9mm handgun the you can hunt anything.

.22 small game and cheap and easy to shoot plus excellent for small game
12ga. for hunting anything else
9mm easy to handle and will kill what you need to kill without the price and overkill of a .44

Just a thought.

I agree with the exception of the 9mm. 40 cal has better stopping power but won't go through 3 people. (the one you are shooting at plus two innocent bystanders)

My first pistol is a 9mm, now I'm ready to sell it since I have 3 40 cals.

The .44 aint overkill!!!! Ussally when someone trys to mugg or rob you there is more than one of them that way you aint wasting more bullets.

You can hunt small game with a 12ga. just choke it and get the shot right or go with a over and under 12ga that has a .410 on the bottome then you are covered. but you got to have the .270 for that long distance shot. Although you can and I have seen people drop a deer 100 yards away with a .22 but it aint LEGAL.

Where I used to hunt you could not get a 100 yard shot so a high powered rifle was too much. Most deer were taken at about 40 or 50 yards (shotgun range with buckshot or slugs). I forgot about the .40 it would be better. Plus a 44 is expensive to shoot and if you don't practice regularly it doesn't do you any good. When I practice with my 9mm I shoot at least 200 rounds so a 44 could get expensive and as far as stopping power I use jacketed hollow points that are nasty little bullets  The .22 is a nice size for kids to learn to shoot,so the whole family can get in on the fun

I'm goin to be honest most kids I have seen learn to shoot on a 20ga or 12ga become better marksman then when they learned on a .22. I learn to shoot when I was four on a 20ga. It threw me on my ass. But I tell you what by the time i was five I could shoot a 20ga and drop anything at about 30 yards. Granny use to beat me for shooting birds off her feeders!!!:D

With my experence with Buckshot number 4 is the best. I have 3inch 00bk but it dont have the hit power like the number 4.

I think the bill is Generally OK from what I read! Ofcourse I don't like the idea of them coming to my house for an inspection of how I keep it. But I do think more needs to be done to insure that we are selling guns to responsible individuals!

Look at it this way Obama is creating Jobs LMAO!

Enforce existing gun laws. Don't add to the pile. This is just more restrictions on law abiding people. The long term goal is to get rid of the guns. Great if you want to make people fully dependent on the socialistic government.

NEWS FLASH We have a democrat congress and if they can do anything to spend money (Tax and Spend) then they will and it gets sweeter when they can usurp an American right from the constitution at the same time.
