What's your opinion on this movie? good? bad? terrible? great? I love Will Smith movies and just bought this one today. I love his last movie, I am Legend. Good stuff.

I liked Hancock, but it certainly wasn't my favorite Will Smith film. When you compare it with I Am Legend and Pursuit of Happyness, it is just mediocre. Also, the twist in the film didn't do it for me.

2 girls (teens) and my wife and I. We all really enjoyed it, at the theater. It was better than it was reviewed.

I was surprised at the "reason" that Will Smith had the powers.

Will Smith said it on one talk show the other day. I did a little digging and the part 2 will be a prequel to the first.

I also thought it to be crazy when I first heard it.

But I guess they figure we don't know enough about the "virus". So it will be about the development of that..

I don't know how great the prequel will be. It doesn't sound very interesting considering we already know what happened. it doesn't need to be explained again. It could be what happens after they gave the blood to the dude at the fort.

Ever since Star Wars did prequels, everyone's doing it. Copycats....

I hated "The Pursuit of Happiness". That film wore me out. Good acting? Yes, Good story, well certainly good from the stand point that good things happen from hard work, but I was pissed. I went through all the trials and tribulations, then once everything worked out, the movie was over. Happy ending yes, but not happy for me. All I got was the pursuit and none of the happiness!

"I am Legend" reminded me movie adaptation of a video game. The original, that wasn't that good, but was better. "Omega Man".

The best actor in "Handcock" was Bateman. He was also good in "Juno" Surprisingly so to me. Handcock was a near miss, it was close though.
