I already have the K&N oil filter which isnt related to this.
Haha rant... Anywho would one of those air intakes make a difference in performance?

I never noticed anything. I would just run a stock replacement filter from K&N. I had the cone filter and the inner cone completely broke off from the main cone so i was sucking in straight dust the entire day.

I have one, have had it for years, and my XJ breathes better than I do. I'd say it's probaby the only thing that has prevented her from keeling over after some of the whupping I put on her!

I had one in my 1994 ford probe GT. I bought it with it on so i never knew if it actually did anything.

I have a CAI 9 inch cone filter on my. I added it at the same time i put on exhaust, so i couldn't tell which (or a combination of the two) the power came from. But the intake gives a badass whistling sound when i get on it (almost like a turbo) So i'm satisfied with mine.
