If ya have lets hear what people have said to ya. Here are a few of what people have said to me

"Gee, ya kids Soccer Field must really be out there"
"Don't ya have a hard time lifting those grocery's up in there"
"It's just a glorified Minivan"
"You lifted a 4wd station wagon?"

And the Newest one for a Wrangler owner
"Just cause you put TJ flares on it don't make it a REAL JEEP"

Take it as a grain of salt, most of the people that say those sorts of things dont know the first thing about the capability of these rigs.
I ain't let it bother me I just think it's funny how ignorant and stupid people are. Was just curious what others have heard

I only get good compliments, Like "that is what a cherokee is suppose to look like".
Show off.

Other than my grandpa, nobody really says anything negative. Even he thinks its pretty sweet now that it's lifted, and he always wonders what I'm doing when I pull it in his garage. :D

Wrangler guys like to talk smack, but then I show them up in my blue SUV and they pipe down.

Station Wagon:
an automobile with one or more rows of folding or removable seats behind the driver and no luggage compartment but an area behind the seats into which suitcases, parcels, etc., can be loaded through a tailgate

I guess we do drive lifted station wagons.

The first full day I drove it around with the lift tires and wheels...

"That is a nice looking jeep!"
"Those are some big tires."

Later...

"It looks like a kids toy!"
"Did your sons make you do that?"
"That looks like a photoshop to me." - From a picture posting on a website.
"I had one pretty 20 something girl smile big and wave at me as I drove past her." - Window tint keeps her from seeing how old I am. :D

I've had two people quiz me on what lift, what size tires, etc...

One kid (less than 25) at NTB loves looking at it and asking me what I'm going to do next.

I haven't had anything but positive comments.

My oldest daughter counted 10 people breaking their necks to look at the Jeep the other day, several mouthing the word "wow", or something along that line. I never notice people looking. I do enjoy the comments people make, in person as well as on the boards when I post a picture or 20. ;)

Very proud of the Jeep.

When I pulled up a the hardware store some guy came up to me and started rambling on about how "all these lifted vehicles do nothing but throw rocks through peoples windows" and continued to rant about how "a rock kicked up by my tire could go through a windshield and literatly kill someone". I can understand how that might be logical, if the other car didn't have a windshield. :p

( he drove a newer lowered Chevy Pickup )

Well sir I certainly understand your concern, but let me ask you something.

You are aware that 18 wheelers weigh several more tons than my little Jeep? That additional weight would certainly make any rock move faster. Also there are more 18 wheelers on the road that lifted vechicles.

I don't recall anyone being killed by a rock launched from an 18 wheeler, or a Jeep for that matter.

You might consider getting your prescription checked by your doctor, because I think the dosage may be a tab bit low. :D

Oh and one more thing "ROCK!!!!"

:rofl::rofl:

I did have one time when I was in one of those commercial delivery trucks with the reeealy flat front, with a flat windshield. We were traveling about 60mph down a 2 lane highway when a log truck traveling the same speed in the opposite direction with a combined speed of about 120mph kicked up a rock the size of a fricken Thanksgiving yam and put it about a foot and a half directly in front of my face into the windshield. Yes I nearly pooped myself and exited the vehicle via my open window, but I think of it as a worst case senario and it still only almost made it through the glass. I don't think I have to worry about killing anybody with my jeep. :D
