My 2019 jeep Cherokee 2.0 turbo threw a P0EA7 code. I took it to the dealership and they determined it was the secondary water pump. I decided to fix it myself because it was pretty simple and I’m cheap lol. I replaced the pump and every worked like a charm. No more humming. However, I’m still getting the code even after topping off the coolant I lost from the install and bleeding it. Also, the miles are now blinking so there is a fault somewhere. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

any update on this? I have the same vehicle and i am having the same issue. I also was looking up the secondary water pump and im finding it hard to find info on it. Any help?

No updates, The code still pops from time to time and the miles still blink. Vehicle runs fine. I am planning to take it to Jeep soon. I can keep you updated on what they find.
