Hi and Welcome from Texas. Tell us some about your XJ. Very nice rig BTW!!!
Thanks all. The XJ has about 10" total lift, WARN bumper, Mile Marker 9k, 37" BFG Krawlers with Staun Beadlocks - TOMKEN, ARB locker, Lock-Rite rear, Tom Woods driveline, Dana 44/30,4:11, chromoly, much Rusty's stuff, Skyjackers, flowmasters, Source CO2, and ARB obo, hydro steeing assist, and homemade interior roll cage. The whole interior is Rhino lined and I carry air tools, 3500amp jump box, first aid, fire supporession, amd every recovery device you can think of. My interest is in vehicle recovery and I try to be helpful whenever vehicles are stuck and in particular when they are in jeopardy.

I also have a Unimog 406 set up for off road use and it doesn't take much to get me to talk about it too.

Thanks again,

Wilson

Thanks everyone. The Mog is a 1985 406 that cleaned the runways off at Lunken Airport (LUK) for 20 years. I got it at the city auction. It has a 6.6L MB diesel OM352 direct injection motor and 6 speed tranny with crawler gears for a totoal of 20 forward speeds. At max rpm (2800) in first gear, it is going about 1/2 walking speed, so it climbs the rock real good. It has air locking front and rear differentials.

It has wet lines on both ends and mechanical pto's on both ends. I added a Warn 15k hydraulic winch since none of my Jeep club buddies could get far trying to pull me out if I was to get stuck. It weighs 9500lb with the ballast weight I added on the back.

It has p/s, air over hydraulic brakes, heated windshield, ether injection, integrated block heater/battery heater/charger, oba with quick connect, spot light, roll bar, cb, and just about every kind of recovery equipment you could think of.

The portal axles give it plenty of clearance and I recently added the Michelin XM47 tires you see in the picture. They are 405R20 about 43" dia and 16" wide. They are fitted with Staun internal beadlocks and I run them at about 12psi. That makes a big footprint under a 9500lb vehicle. It rides to the trail on my Volvo FE 33000gvw flatbed which has a Cat 3116 motor and will run all day down the road at 68mph and 12mpg.

Thanks for letting me brag about my stuff to some guys who I know appreciate this stuff.

Here's a picture of the Mog loaded up on my truck.
