I'm into scaled RC's as well. Normally i build my own to save some bucks but it is an expensive hobby, just like our big jeeps are.

I'm also into HALO for some reason. I figured i'd be bored of video games by this age but it's just too darn addictive.

i was always in a forum..which i never go anymore so i dont get tease....but dude some people put up to 5k in those rc things...is crazy...i was close to 250 and i said...mm..NOT!

Mine was about $400 built. It was 1:6 scale, HUGE and HEAVY. I think i spent too much on it but it sure WAS fun.

$5000 is way too much for a RC unless you compete for a living.
